Mike is a proud City resident living in downtown Albany and enjoys a walkable commute to the office in the morning. As Communications & Marketing Manager Mike facilitates the Corporation’s public relations management function — provides expertise in message development, media relations, manages the Corporation’s publications, website, social media, and other news sources. Our communications enhance our programs, amplifying our abilities to create, retain, and attract business in the City of Albany.
Prior to joining the team at Capitalize Albany Corporation Mike worked as a public relations consultant at strategic communications firm Gramercy Communications where he served a range of clients representing more than $5 billion worth of economic activity in New York State. Mike’s interest in new media and public relations stems from his prior experience in radio broadcasting.
Mike is active in the community serving as vice-chairman for the Northeastern Association of the Blind at Albany’s board of directors and serves as a board member for the Public Relations Society of America’s Capital Region chapter and its Northeast District. He holds a bachelor’s of public relations from Utica College of Syracuse University.
